Claudine Mugiraneza is an innovative strategic leader who serves as the executive Secretary of the Rwanda Diabetes Association (RDA), bringing a strong foundation in social sciences with a university degree complemented by nursing training. In her pivotal role, she oversees the organization's administrative and operational management while actively supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of key programs focused on diabetes prevention, control, patient care, and broader health promotion initiatives throughout Rwanda. Her multifaceted expertise enables her to ensure seamless organizational functioning, facilitate effective program delivery, foster stakeholder collaborations, and drive community-oriented efforts that raise awareness, promote healthy lifestyles, and empower individuals affected by diabetes contributing significantly to the RDA's mission of reducing the burden of non-communicable diseases and improving health outcomes for Rwandans living with or at risk of diabetes
